Progress.
The old wooden wheat elevators have been replaced with shiny new metal ones. Still, it was rather sad to see this one being turned into toothpicks before my eyes...

Project 365 ~ Day 319
One Tough Trip.
I can't believe how beat up this lock is after one trip from Nashville to Grande Prairie Alberta. Good reason to have quality luggage with strong zippers!

Project 365 ~ Day 318
Heading North.
The sunset was stunning on the flight from Nashville to Toronto. I didn't get to Grande Prairie until mid morning following this sunset, after layovers in Toronto and Edmonton.

Project 365 ~ Day 317
Air Advisory.
Using the Topaz Adjust plugin really brought out the pollution in the air about the city. The air advisory was high almost every day I was in Nashville.

Project 365 ~ Day 314
Dogwoods in Bloom.
One of the nicest things about visiting Nashville in April is catching the dogwoods in bloom. Truly a beautiful and unique flower. And interestingly enough, they are both the state flower of Tennessee and the provincial flower of British Columbia.

Lakeside.
The Blue Herons were beautiful, and unlike any bird that lives near me. It was really cool to capture them on camera.

Project 365 ~ Day 312
The Most Interesting Neighbor.
This blue heron has been nesting at the creek behind my parent's condo for several years, and can been seen daily from their balcony. He was not very happy with me exploring near him, and this was the only good picture I was able to get of him.

Beautiful Beginning.
I just loved the look of this. Is this Crepe Myrtle or something else?

Project 365 ~ Day 310
The Journey Begins.
I travelled to Nashville to visit my family, leaving slush and brown to soak up (literally - the humidy was bad! LOL) spring. I left the evening of April 6. These are the carts in the Grande Prairie AB airport.

Project 365 ~ Day 308
Spring in Motion.
As soon as dry land is spied, the bikes come out. This young man was determined to bike the slew. It was deep! But he made it through - a testament to youth...
