Friday the 13th

The moon was still high as I left for work, and was a lovely blue.  This was handheld using my 70-200 f/4 with a 1.4 extender, and the crop is about 85%.

Weather Comin' In

The strangest thing about this photo is that it was taken today (January 9th) and there is NO SNOW on the ground! The high today was +7. However, those clouds are bringing the weather, and by tomorrow this field should be white again and the temp back to a seasonable -15...

Too Late...

I came home tasting the last cooler, seeing it in my mind's eye right there in the fridge door. First day back to work, and a cooler to refresh me after...  Except my wife got thirsty, and drank the cooler while I was on the way home!  :(

Starting Again... Day One of Project 366

A serious illness last spring stopped my last Project 365 in it's tracks - and almost stopped me, too.  2011 was not a good year for my photography, and I'm really planning on getting back on track in 2012.  I started a new project today, and since it's a leap year - welcome to my Project 366!

My first issue was deciding which photos to use for day one.  I finally settled on 2, as they both have something to say.
